(Miami, Fl – June 23, 2013) – Eyes On News The Miami Heat Championship Public Celebration will take place on Monday, June 24, 2013. The Parade officially begins at 11:00AM and ends at approximately 2:00PM.Miami Heat Parade Route
The route starts at Southwest 2 Avenue and Southwest 8 Street proceding east, then north on Brickell Avenue across the bridge, and north on Biscayne Boulevard into the american Airlines Arena via NE 8th Street.
Upon conclusion of the parade, all festivities will end. The Miami Heat players will not be making appearance. There will NOT be any viewing on the exterior media mesh of the event taking place inside the arena. ONLY SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE The American Airlines Arena.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes, if they need to travel in the vicinity. City of Miami Police Officers will be placed along the parade to provide assistance.
SW 8 Street will close at approximately 9:00AM and reopen for vehicular traffic as soon as the tail of the parade passes. There will be intermittent closures as the parade passes, allowing vehicular traffice to return to normalcy.
NOTE: NO BACKPACKS WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE CELEBRATION!!!
