Chicago Bulls at New York Knicks | Wednesday, November 4, 2026 | 6:30 PM CT / 7:30 PM ET | Madison Square Garden, New York | CHSN, MSG

I picked the 76ers to beat us on Monday, 118-108. They won 126-107, so I had the winner and was about 10 points light on the margin. Chicago stayed within shouting distance for most of the night, then Philadelphia went on a 15-2 third-quarter run and the lead reached 22 in the fourth. That’s five straight losses, and the Bulls are 1-6.

Now the road trip continues in New York, against a Knicks team that beat us 133-127 last Wednesday and is a double-digit favorite tonight.

Game Info: Bulls at Knicks

  • Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2026
  • Tip-off: 6:30 PM CT / 7:30 PM ET
  • Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York
  • TV: CHSN and MSG, per Fubo. NBA League Pass also carries it
  • Records: Bulls 1-6, tied for the worst mark in the East; Knicks 3-4, eighth in the East
  • Odds: Picks and Parlays listed the Knicks at -12.5 with a total of 233.5. I couldn’t find a moneyline

Where the Bulls Are

Monday’s loss at Philadelphia was familiar. Chicago kept it close early, then lost the second half by 14. The Bulls shot 27% from three, and the Sixers’ Tyrese Maxey (26 points, 11 assists) and Jaylen Brown (25 points, 11 rebounds) controlled the second half.

The one thing that keeps showing up on the positive side is Caleb Wilson. He scored 24 with seven rebounds, four assists and a career-high four steals in 34 minutes against Philadelphia, shooting 9-for-17 and 4-for-9 from three. Through seven games he averages 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists and has reached 20 points five times, per Heavy.

  • Injuries: Nic Claxton (left hamstring) is listed as questionable for Wednesday, after being doubtful on Monday. I couldn’t confirm the rest of the report.
  • Last week: The Bulls lost to the Knicks 133-127 at the United Center on Oct. 28, when Jalen Brunson scored 38.
  • The trend: Chicago has now allowed 125 or more in four straight games. Its tempo is fast, which helps the over.

The Knicks: Up and Down

New York is 3-4. It beat Brooklyn 103-90 at home on Monday, outscoring the Nets by 17 in the fourth quarter. The Knicks have won four straight meetings with Chicago, per Picks and Parlays, and they’ve scored 128 or more in three of the last four.

  • Brunson and Towns: Brunson scored 38 with seven assists against us last week. Karl-Anthony Towns grabbed 20 rebounds against Detroit the night before that game.
  • Injuries: Josh Hart (ankle) is questionable. Jose Alvarado (ankle) had been out for several games, and I couldn’t confirm his status for tonight.
  • Coach: Mike Brown said after their win over Detroit that “it ain’t fixed. Nothing’s really fixed.”

The Matchups That Matter

Claxton or no Claxton. Chicago is thin up front, and Towns will exploit it. If Claxton plays, the Bulls at least have a rim protector. If not, it’s Jalen Smith and Matas Buzelis against a team that already crushes the glass.

Wilson against Knicks wings. He’s the one Bulls player who looks like he belongs every night. I want to see whether New York throws size at him.

Three-point variance. Chicago has been among the league’s worst long-range shooting teams all year (22.6% through three games, 27% on Monday). A normal night would help.

The second half. The Bulls have been outscored in the second half repeatedly: 40-20 in a quarter against Washington, 39-21 at Boston, and by 14 at Philadelphia. The pattern is real.

Free throws. Chicago led the league in free-throw attempts early in the season. If the Bulls keep getting to the line, they can hang around.

What Actually Decides It

The spread is 12.5, which is the market saying this should be easy. I’m not going to argue much. Chicago is 1-6, the Knicks have scored 128-plus against us in three of the last four meetings and the defensive numbers are brutal.

But I’ll note that the Bulls have been competitive for halves and have shown they can score. I think they stay close for a while and then lose the game in the second half, just like on Monday. I’ll take the Knicks, and I’ll lean toward the Bulls hanging around the number.

My Honest Final Score Prediction: New York Knicks 121, Chicago Bulls 110
