It was such a pleasure to interview the incredible cast and crew of The Vortex on the night of its premiere for Eye on LA with our Host Jackie Watson. It was truly inspiring to get to know all of these talented people and I look forward to watching them bring this story and all of its characters to life tonight on Melrose Avenue. Generally considered to be Noel Coward’s greatest work, The Vortex is back but skilled director Gene Franklin Smith has made some slight changes. One of which is Smith moved the timeline of the play to the 1960’s which will resonate a lot more with today’s audience since the play focuses so much on sex and drugs. As we all know, there was plenty of both back then.
