Thank you to all who helped make Clear the Shelters an unforgettable day back in 2015, especially all the families who adopted a new furry friend! Clear the Shelters is about communities working together to help families have the opportunity to adopt a family pet and for deserving animals to get a second chance at life, which is exactly what we did last year! It doesn’t get better than that and we’re proud to have partnered with our local stations and NBCUniversal to inspire our community to take action. We hope 2016 is even better!
About Clear the Shelters
Clear the Shelters is a first-of-its-kind nationwide pet adoption drive that resulted in nearly 10,000 animals finding new homes through an unprecedented partnership between the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations.
Clear the Shelters helps to address the overcrowding issues that local animal shelters typically experience in the summer months because of spring litters.
