Sept. 20, 2013 www.eyeonsouthflorida.com staff – The March of Dimes Broward Division’s Signature Chefs Auction was held this past Wednesday, at the Hilton fort Lauderdale Marina, and as always was a fun and upbeat gourmet extravaganza that pays tribute to culinary excellence. Guests sampled scrumptious fare from 20 handpicked Signature Chefs from Greater Fort Lauderdale’s finest restaurants who prepared samples of their signature dishes and showcased the latest food trends. Attendees enjoyed live music and opportunities to bid on unique silent and live auction items all to benefit stronger, healthier babies.
Each chef prepared tasty samples, showcasing their epicurean talents and the latest food trends.
This year’s participants are chef co-chairs: Executive Chef Marc Gruverman and Candi Evett, both of The Capital Grille.
