Another BSO first. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is the first sheriff’s agency in the world to receive the prestigious Center for Public Safety Excellence’s accreditation for its Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services. The accreditation was conferred August 1 in Denver where the Commission on fire Accreditation International convened.
