Host Jessica Koussevitzky was on hand for the Chamber’s annual Holiday Social hosted by The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale and Leadership Fort Lauderdale.
Each year the Chamber and The Galleria spread much needed holiday cheer by choosing a non-profit from our community to be the beneficiary of the Holiday Social event. Ronald McDonald House Charities® of South Florida provide a “home-away-from home for families of children seeking medical treatment in our community. On any given year, more than 545 families stay at “the House that Love Built” a place where parents can sleep, comfortably, cook meals, do laundry and receive understanding and support from others facing similar circumstances.
Right before the holiday social kicked off the chamber celebrated the 2014 South Florida Innovation Awards. The ceremony is first and foremost a civic activity done out of love and respect for our businesses and region. The mission is to celebrate, educate and connect innovators across all industries in the Greater Fort Lauderdale region.
