The Chamber has merged two signature events to honor outstanding leaders for their contributions to the community and beyond. The Chamber is pleased in celebrating the winners who make our community prosper. Downtowner of the Year is awarded to a prominent member of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale business community who has shown outstanding leadership and direction. The honoree represents the goals for a vibrant downtown economy, and has included leaders such as Doug McCraw, Heiko Dobrikow and most recently, Steve Hudson. The Salute to Business luncheon honors titans of industry in various industries throughout Broward County. One business leader is inducted into the Chamber’s Hall of Fame.
