It was a beautiful evening at Parkland Golf & Country Club for the Inaugural Montel Williams Military Makeover Celebrity Golf Classic & Gala presented by BrandStar philanthropic arm BrandStar Cares. Host Racquel Goldy was on hand for this inspirational event which raised money and awareness for military personnel, veterans and two local nonprofit organizations, Thank You First Responders (TYFRO.org) and Parkland Cares Debbie Hixon was also on hand as the recipient of a complete home makeover right here in South Florida on the national TV show Military Makeover. Debbie is the wife of the late Chris Hixon, Athletic Director and Wrestling Coach at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and 27 year U.S. Navy Veteran.
