Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale’s BURGER BATTLE™ IX
Host Karyn Turk hit Huizenga Plaza for the epic burger battle showdown. This sizzling event pitted top local restaurants and burger joints against one another as they showed off their culinary creativity and grilling skills to 1200+ guests along the scenic New River. The afternoon included a Burger Eating Contest, live music, cold beer, quality cocktails, refreshing wines and plenty of gourmet burger creations while raising funds to support the Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale’s mission of “building and nurturing a vibrant community connected by the New River.”
In addition to the unlimited burger tasting, all event goers were treated to a French-Fry Bar. Each guest received three drink tickets for use at either the Jack Daniels cocktail stands & the Barefoot Wine & Bubbly tent provided by Breakthru Beverage and beer stations supplied by Stephens Distributing to wash down all of those burgers.
Who will take the Trophy? A team of restaurant industry judges will award the custom Riverwalk Burger Battle™ trophy and guests will also select a Fan Favorite with their Burger Battle Chip.
