S.E.E.K., Inc. Hosts Get Hip and Fit Fair in Miami Gardens
Miami, Fla. –. Community based organization Seeking Education Empowers Knowledge (SEEK, Inc.), will host Get Hip and Fit Fair,” on Saturday, September 21st at Miami Garden’s, Betty T. Ferguson’s Recreation Complex amphitheater from 1- 5 pm. The event will focus on providing the best in preventative healthcare and fitness for children and teens, sponsored by Let’s Go Party Rentals, featuring celebrity chef Richard Ingram, chef to Dwyane Wade of the 2013 NBA Champion Miami Heat and fitness demonstrations with Davin Bush, from Bush Fitness. “We are so excited to bring this positive event to the City of Miami Gardens our co-sponsors, partnering with Lisa C. Davis, Vice Mayor, Residential Area Seat – 2, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade and Let’s Go Party,” said, President of SEEK, Inc. Anike Sakariyawo. “We look forward to a fun-filled, healthy and educational day that is free for the entire community.”
The event will feature health screenings to include, blood pressure, STD-HIV, health education from healthcare providers to include Chen Medical Centers, Humana, Bush Fitness, Dr. Paschal Pediatricians, Concept Health Systems and Children’s Trust, among others. On the main stage hosts Sports Brothers aka Edwin and co-host Jeff Fox will keep everyone energized. In addition to cooking demonstrations and tastings by Chef RLI, Fitness Training by Bush Fitness, Hip Hop Dance demos by Diva Arts Dance Studio and contests. There will be games, activities and a DJ spinning the latest in Hip Hop, fun for the kids and participation for the entire family. All are welcome to attend; Betty T.
