Host Max Tucci catches up with Courtney Sixx at the Indie Lounge at Sundance. Courtney Sixx is a blogger, entertainer, and model. Sixx is married to Nikki Sixx, bassist of the rock band Motley Crue.
About Courtney Sixx:
Courtney Sixx grew up in Los Angeles. At 17 she began modeling with Wilhelmina Models. Soon after Courtney moved to Europe to pursue her career as a high fashion model. After a successful career modeling, film production caught Courtney’s eye. From 2006-2008 Courtney lived in Los Angeles and worked at Paramount Pictures/CFP Productions under veteran romantic comedy film producer Christine Peters. At 22 Courtney moved from Beverly Hills to New York City. The next two years were spent in between NYC and Miami Beach producing television infomercials for Square One Entertainment and developing, “Cover Ups by Courtney” a swimwear cover up line.
It wasn’t long before Courtney continued to pursue her passion for film production. In 2011, she produced the film, “Inappropriate Comedy” starring; Adrien Brody, Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez and Lindsay Lohan released nationwide March 2013.
Ever since she was a young girl, Courtney always had a passion for arts & crafts, painting, sewing, makeup and fashion. When Courtney started out on her own she didn’t have a lot of money so she found lots of fantastic and creative ways to get beautiful looks on a shoe string budget.
Now 28, on any given day you can find Courtney at her home in Westlake Village, California rolling up her sleeves and taking on new exciting DIY projects as she sets out to show women via her blog, radio and video tutorials how to get fabulous looks on a budget anyone can afford via her website How2Girl.com, How2Girl Radio on iheartradio, as well as tv and video tutorials.
