For years the World of Chocolate was the premiere gala in Chicago. And now, the long-awaited return of the World of Chocolate is finally here. Join the AIDS Foundation Chicago on February 17th at Union Station for the grand reintroduction of the most anticipated event of 2023.
Chocolatiers from Chicago’s best restaurants, hotels, and bakeries will showcase their signature sweets, savory bites, and craft cocktails in friendly competition all while raising money to combat the AIDS epidemic. Proceeds from the event will support AFC’s mission of mobilizing communities to create equity and justice for people living with and vulnerable to HIV, including the Getting To Zero Illinois initiative of ending the HIV epidemic in Illinois by 2030.
The evening will be judged by a panel of notable Chicago chefs and personalities. A full list of the chocolatiers that will be in attendance can be found here. 2019’s winners (the last in-person event) include LondonHouse Chicago for Best Sweet, The Gwen for Best Savory, and People’s Choice winner Terry’s Toffee, among others.
Attending guests will enjoy a light buffet with premium bites, specialty cocktails, open bar, music, and a raffle filled with prizes donated by various local Chicago businesses. Here are a few more details:
