The Darrell Gwynn Foundation, on behalf of Sawgrass Ford, donated a custom wheelchair to 16 year-old Alex Lowe of Plantation, Fla. at Sawgrass Ford on Monday, January 28. The funds for the wheelchair were donated by Sawgrass Ford whom held a December holiday promotion, โYou Buy A Ride, They Get A Rideโ, in which the Sunrise, Fla. dealership donated $100 to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation for every vehicle it sold or leased in December. Sawgrass Ford raised $25,000 for the Darrell Gwynn Foundationโs Wheelchair Donation Program. The Darrell Gwynn Foundationโs mission is to provide SUPPORT for people with paralysis and PREVENT spinal cord injuries.
