GOLFINO
As European market leader in golf sportswear, GOLFINO stands for fashion, function and outstanding quality.
Since 1986, every outfit in each collection has been stylish, comfortable and functional, while protecting the
wearer from adverse weather conditions. As an owner-managed, family-run business, GOLFINO attaches great
importance to continuous communication with customers and fulfilling individual needs and wishes.
When Bernhard Langer won the US Masters in 1985 and became the World’s No.1 player a year later, founders
Dr Bernd Kirsten and Christel Kirsten, decided to make the most of the passion for golf in Europe and established
GOLFINO – a niche label that initially only sold knitwear for golfers. Eye-catching motifs and adornments were the
trademarks of fashion in the 1980s and the Kirstens successfully integrated them into the golf wear sector.
