SheriffsTV along with Eye On South Florida had a unique opportunity to talk with Paolo Taveggia, Founder and CEO of Champions International Camp (CIC), who has partnered his organization with Red Card Cancer ( A Cure is our Goal) to help raise funds and world wide awareness for the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Research Center. We also has a chance to talk to Italian Soccer Legend and Euro Champion Massimo Ambrosini, Captain, AC Milan, about why he and three other Italian Soccer Player Champions became co-founders and instructers in this initiative. The first of four week long U.S.A. CIC Camps was held in Ft. Lauderdale and 60-70 young men and woman had a chance to learn from Massimo and some of the best soccer coaches in the world. The children in camp not only learned how to enhance their skills in areas such as ball handling, passing, heading and defense, but in life skills such as sacrifice, fair play, teamwork and nutrition. The investment made in our children’s futures and life saving cancer research were truly match winners this week. Working together, everyone involved in this event is a Champion.
