The organizers of Fleet Week Port Everglades, the Consul General of France in Miami and representatives from the American Society of the Legion of Honour, bestowed the highest distinction of the French Republic on local World War II veterans to honor their military merits. Additionally, they recognized our latest generation of american patriots appointed to the United States Naval Academy from throughout Broward County.
