He has served as Tennessee’s Assistant Commissioner for Substance Abuse Services, Vice-President of the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners, and currently leads as Chief Medical Officer at Cedar Recovery. His expertise is recognized nationwide, having delivered over 500 lectures on opioid use disorder and served as an expert witness in numerous federal and state cases involving improper prescription of controlled substances.
