Savannah Maddison, the 13-year old singer/songwriter and Founder/CEO of “Savannah’s Soldiers,” hosted a music video release party for her new single, “Left Me Here,” at Luna Star Café, February 19th 2015 at 7pm. Andrea Ocampo emceed the event.
At the age of 11, Ms. Maddison created Savannah’s Soldiers in honor of a friend’s father who was stationed overseas. In the past three years, she has achieved overwhelming success by working with schools across the country, promoting literacy and giving thanks to our armed forces, as well as engaging supporters through local community and large-scale athletic events. To date, Savannah’s Soldiers has sent over 100,000 letters to troops stationed overseas.
“I love writing songs and performing. But what I enjoy the most is that it gives me a great opportunity to raise awareness of ‘Savannah’s Soldiers’ and send as many letters to troops serving abroad as possible,” Ms. Maddison said. “My mission is to make sure our military men and women are not forgotten while they are away from their loved ones protecting our freedom.”
Ms. Maddison has been featured on Larry King Now, FOX & Friends, The Today Show, The Huffington Post, UK’s Daily Mail, AOL, KTLA and other local, regional and national publications. More information is available at:
