In an e-mail sent to the Alumni and other interested parties, the President of Nova Southeastern University, George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D announced the intention of Nova Southeastern University to build a 100 bed hospital on campus. The hospital will be located as the anchor tenant for NSU’s Academical Village, which has been described as a community of scholars and students living and working closely together. If the project is approved, it will significantly enhance teaching and research at the school’s main campus.
The reason the e-mail was sent to the Alumni was for the purpose of requesting the Alumni to write a letter supporting this decision to assist the school in obtaining a certificate of need from the State board, which approves these types of projects, so the school can move forward on this project.
